Vermont is a peaceful land located in the northeastern New England region of the United States, where there is a diverse mix of many different cultures with different identities. Vermont is a state with the 6th-smallest area (about 24,900 km2) located in the Northeast of the United States. It is bordered by the states of Massachusetts to the south, New Hampshire to the east, New York to the west, and the Canadian province of Quebec to the north. Despite its small area, this is a rich land with a high mountain running along the center from north to south and high biodiversity. The two sides of this mountain range are fertile valley plains for settlement and agriculture.

The western boundary of the state is the sixth largest freshwater lake in the United States, Lake Champlain. Vermont has the second-lowest population in the United States, with approximately 650,000 people (in 2022).
