New Hampshire is a state in the New England region in the northeastern part of the United States. New Hampshire is the 5th-smallest state by area and the 10th-most populous state in the United States. It is bordered by Massachusetts to the south, Vermont to the west, Maine and the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and the Canadian province of Quebec to the north.
The state consists of seven different regions: the Seacoast, Dartmouth-LLake Sunapee, Lakes Region, Merrimack Valley, Monadnock Region, White Mountains, and Great North Woods. It is the birthplace of President Franklin Pierce.
Mount Washington, Franconia, Notch State Park, the Mount Washington Cog Railway, Loon Mountain Resort... are all popular tourist destinations.
