Iowa is a state in the Midwestern United States. Iowa is bordered by Minnesota to the north, Nebraska and South Dakota to the west, Missouri to the south, and Wisconsin and Illinois to the east. It has two nicknames, "High Corn State" and "Hawkeye State," after Black Hawk. This is the birthplace of President Herbert Hoover.
