Connecticut is an American state in the northeastern part of the United States. Connecticut has a mild climate with a long coastline around Long Island Bay. This has helped the state have a long tradition of developing the maritime industry. The state of Connecticut is now known for being the wealthiest in the United States. It is bordered by Rhode Island to the east, Massachusetts to the north, New York to the west, and Long Island Sound to the south.

Connecticut is the third-smallest state by area, the 29th most populous, and the fourth most populous of the 50 states. This land has a temperate climate typical of the northeast with the influence of the ocean, so summers are usually hot and humid and winters are cold, windy, and snowy. The best time is in the warm spring and cool autumn.
