Alaska is a state of the United States of America, located at the northwestern end of the North American continent. Alaska is bordered by Canada to the east, the Arctic Ocean to the north, and the Pacific Ocean to the west and south, facing Russia across the Bering Strait, making it the most remote and landlocked state of any of the 50 states in the United States.
It is the largest US state by area and the seventh largest local division in the world. In addition, it is the third-least populated and most sparsely populated of the 50 US states.
Denali National Park and Reserve, Denali Mountain, Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, Kenai Fjords National Park,... are all well-known places for tourists to visit.
